OOTD double experiment with brown
Today's experiments: monochromatic brown, and wearing suspenders.
· white short-sleeved linen shirt with camp collar and brown buttons (J. Crew)
· light beige linen trousers (Tommy Hilfiger)
· beige suspenders/braces (brand unknown, received as gift)
· optional: brown herringbone vest (brand unknown, acquired from thrift store)
· brown penny loafers (Sperry)
· light brown socks with dark brown stripes
· brown tortoise shell glasses
· Garmin Venu 2 watch with brown leather strap
As you can see, the suspenders started peeking out a bit next to the vest, though I don't actually mind that.
I like the beltless look and was motivated to try this today because the waist of these trousers is pretty loose on me. I think I like these particular trousers a bit better this way than with a belt.
My partner called this look "Period Safari—in a good way" 😄
