Can’t make it today
Can’t join the call today or next week. Appointments today, traveling next week. I’ll post my thoughts here later today. Don’t forget to hit record Mike!
Reflect and Reframe
Holiday downtime is a rare gift. Not because you “should be productive,” but because you finally have enough quiet to hear the truth. Here’s the standard I’m borrowing from championship coaches: your ceiling is nice to talk about… but your life is built on your floor. The habits you fall back on when you’re tired, stressed, busy, or disappointed. So don’t just reflect on 2025. Reframe it—so 2026 isn’t a repeat year with better intentions. 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 (𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓): no drama, just data Write fast. Be honest. No performing. - What did I do this year that I’m secretly proud of? (Even if no one noticed.) - Where did I abandon my own standards? Not big failures—small slips that became normal. - What did I tolerate that trained people how to treat me? - What “worked” but cost me too much? Energy. Integrity. Relationships. Health. - What patterns showed up under pressure? (Avoidance, control, overwork, numbing, people-pleasing.) 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞 (𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔): 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 New year goals are fine. New year defaults change everything. - What does “raising the floor” mean for me? (Sleep, workouts, meetings, boundaries, mornings, money.) - What are my 3 non-negotiables on my worst day? The minimum standard that still makes me proud. - What am I going to make boring and automatic? (Championships are built on fundamentals, not mood.) - Where do I need to be harder on myself—because I respect my future? - Where do I need to be kinder on myself—because shame never created consistency? 𝐂𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖𝟎% 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 Most people don’t need more effort. They need less noise. - What 80% is stealing 20% of my life? (The time leak. The relationship drain. The compulsive “yes.”) - What am I doing to look good instead of get better? - What am I pretending is “necessary” that’s actually optional? - What boundary, if enforced, would instantly change my year? 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 Momentum is a strategy. - What 20% created the best results this year? Name it. Schedule it. Protect it. - Who brings out my best standards? Who makes my standards negotiable? - What system made me consistent? (Not motivated—consistent.)
Good news
Hey guys! I hope everyone is achieving their goals!!I just wanted to share a quick progress update. I haven’t been able to join the meeting because I had a recurring meeting scheduled at the same new time. Here’s my update: I launched my second group for AI for Leaders, and I was moving very slowly with prospect meetings. Then I received an invitation to an event in Mexico (I lived here for four years, so I have a strong network), and I decided to stay two more weeks to have in person meetings. Magic happened. I’m good at connecting with leaders, but online it’s just not the same. I’m already seeing results. I’ve received two confirmations in the last few days, and new opportunities have started to appear. Also, not being in cold weather gives me so much more energy. I feel happy, grounded, and doing business from this place is making a big difference. I’m all in, committed, as Ben Hardy would say. Have a great week!

Ben Hardy's Journal Prompts: 12/19/2025
I'm posting my answers to the journal prompts here as an accountability measure for myself. 1. Looking back on 2025, the most important lesson/transformation I've experienced is seeing myself as a wealth strategist. Getting past my fears of imposter syndrome, although that creeps in from time to time. Seeing myself as a wealth strategist, I will consistently share content that is informative and educational to share my knowledge and experience with the universe that has been given to me by GOD. Doing this takes my focus away from increasing revenue, chasing Assets Under Management (AUM). I will be intentional with my actions. I will not wait to be discovered; sharing my knowledge and experience will attract my niche audience. 2. Looking back on 2025, the lesson I STILL haven't fully learned is to hire a tax preparer. Instead of "firing" my tax clients to focus on building my wealth management business, hire a tax preparer to keep my current tax clients with the goal of transforming the tax clients to wealth management clients when they have a life changing event that requires their need for all of the services I provide. I am the bottleneck because everything goes through me. I've created a job for myself; I have not created a self-managing business. Creating a self-managing business creates more free time for myself and allows others to work in their unique ability. 3. Thinking 12 months ahead, I want my life to be: more intentional with the specific work I do and the work I delegate to others. I will gain more clarity on my niche area that I work in which will provide clarity to people looking for the specific services I provide. This will change me personally in that I will not be as stressed because I will be working in my unique ability; I will delegate busy work so I can focus on being a wealth strategist that meets with current and potential clients to demonstrate a science-based approach to retirement income planning that will help establish reliable retirement income, reduce the impact of market fluctuation, and accommodate inflation.
