Bulk Updating

Hi All, I needed to use a bulk updating tool to add 8 variations to each of my listings. I am at 720 listings so adding 8 variations with 3 price profiles is going to take a while manually. I looked at the options and saw Vela and Evlista, and Evlista seemed to be the better option both price wise and the tools it said it offered. I decided to do one section (61 listings) after a couple of tutorials, and added the 8 variations following the tutorials. when I checked my listings, it had turned off global shipping and didn't add the variations! 4 hours later, and still not able to sort it out.

My question is relating to Vela (or any other bulk editing tool suggestions welcome) as maybe I should have used this instead!

In Vela, has anyone bulk uploaded variations and successfully completed the upload and not lost their global shipping profiles? In short, will Vela perform this task of bulk uploading 8 variations with three prices on global shipping UK, US and Everywhere else?
