Here goes…
Ok so something that resonated in one of Tom’s videos is that if you produce ‘crap’ posters it’ll be a problem. I’ve made 15 posters so far and would love some feedback. My posters are made in Gemini with me dropping into Canva, removing watermarks/brands and adding the year as a title and a random date. Anachronism is my theme and they’re supposed to be amusing. All feedback good and bad welcome! https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SlimJimPrint

@Jamie Flear Took me a while to spot the thing that wasnt right in some of the posters, like a little game for the overworked brain today lol Not sure we need the year on the poster aswell as below in the border might do better without that, you could test them with/without a bit of an A/B test and see which do better? Keep the border and the date stuff at the bottom tho thats more like branding it ties them all together in a way.
Software Required
Hello, I am about the start adding products to my new shop and I am unsure what software products I require. I am already signed up to Chat GPT Pro and I have been told I need Everbee and something called Upscayl, would everyone agree?

@Mark Fulleylove but why pay for another tool when you can do it in chatgpt. Dave has a prompt library you can use to get information about popular niches keywords etc check his videos the latest ones are about the etsy link with chatgpt https://www.youtube.com/@AddToCartEtsySuccess

@Mark Fulleylove okay the way i would go find a niche, an idea that you are passionate about that has a passionate audience, thats where chatgpt can help you, for me that has recently become the cosy fantasy/gaming niche cos im a NERD and i like dice and things. anyway.. moving on Once you have a niche then you can deep dive and ask chatgpt to research ideas for wall art and it will come up with some design ideas, ask for a bunch like 25 ideas in this niche then you take say a handful of the ideas you like, and ask it to generate some images based on those ideas. See if you get better results there than trying to copy but be different.
Training
Hi there. In the training vids we are often directed to look in the description for a postage table or similar and I may be being completely blind but I can't find the descriptions to the videos. Where can I find these?

@Tom Morris The countries royal mail has zone 1 of Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, Corsica, Denmark, Monaco so the countries closest to uk and zone 2 basically EU europe and their zone 3 is non-eu europe which i guess might be covered by print shrimps world rate.

Proof of ownership of artwork
If you create a poster design, how do you prove it's yours if it is not generated by AI? Been reading some threads here and as I do not use AI for anything, just use my computer drawing package, what proof can I use. I have no intension of providing my original files to anyone.

Depends what software you use some have a recording facility where you can get a playback of your process, procreate does this and a couple of android ones, alternatively if you are a PC only user you can use OBS to record it. Also you can embed meta data into your files like photographers do. I take it you are asking in case of someone stealing your work, in that case you wouldnt send them the proof it would be better to just go direct through etsy and send screenshots of your original work with all the layers etc visible.

@Ro White Totally understand im the same some of mine i use ai assistance but theres alot i edit afterwards. Theres some software called digiKam to embed the copywrite data just be careful it can compress things too .. i learnt a lesson really quickly there lol Best option is probably a screenshot when you have completed something showing all the working layers with the date showing obviously you can watermark the screenshot and then save that somewhere like a notion database or something then if you ever have to prove something you can present that image.. with a big 🖕along side it lol

@Tom Beeston I got a new order and was just gonna fulfil it but when i tried to import it, the poster i've just sold on Etsy wasn't coming up. So i decided to log out and log back in and now the 'Import' button is gone.. please help thankyou :))

looks like its lost connection to your etsy store mine shows as attached, pop over to the integrations and see if its still connected.

@John Bien Ramirez Might be a bit of delay for the data to come back through if the connection had dropped, worst case it might be manual order time 🫣
