Interesting workout hack
I have a workout playlist, some from the coach himself, but sometimes music doesn't do it for me. So I go to other means. I found out, kind of by accident, that it's super helpful to listen to Michael Dean himself via a video tutorial, gives me a great workout. Even if he isn't talking about the workout I'm working on, because I'm so used to following his instructions his voice gives me an automatic focus on my workouts and I get a great run. It feels like he's right there. Even some of his Instagram lives (which he doesn't do anymore, probably because of weird comments) are on Youtube and listening to that helps. And half of the time he doesn't even talk about workout stuff. Hypothetically speaking he could lament about how he forgot to do the dishes for four minutes and it helps.
Am I the only one who has experienced this? Am I crazy? Don't know why this works but I recommend it.
