Why Learn Spanish?
This is something that i am super passionate about and i would love to be able to speak fluently. As it stands i am not very good but i will keep Practicing until i get there.
I am learning Spanish for a few reasons. Not just for the sexy latinas.
I firstly think it is bonkers how hardly anyone from the UK can speak another language unless they have a foreign parent or have lived in another country. Although English is the main strong language in the world and most people can speak basic English, I find it almost rude that we cannot speak a second language, wherever we go on holiday we expect them to speak English to us. I think its important wherever we go to learn the very basics of each language.
For example, i am in thailand right now, i would be lying if i said i could string a sentence together but i have a solid 20 words in my arsenal which i like to deploy on shop keeps, massage ladies and people i speak to on the street. Since Spanish is a massively used language also in Spain, and also South America, I think it would be good to learn as it would enable me to communicate with more humans on this planet. It was an intention of mine to spend some time in Medellin some point too, in Colombia they speak Spanish so its good to learn it for that reason as well.
Additionally, learning another language helps grow your brain. Like you workout your muscles in the gym, you are exercising your brain, learning new material which in turn will help you learn more things in everyday life. It's a great skill to have.
If anyone here wants to help me learn Spanish feel free, i need people to speak to to help me practice!!
