EXAGGERATE - RETRACTION PIRF 27 is using exaggeration…and then retraction! What?? You say something that isn’t really true and then you bring your words back to the truth! For example, “I caught a fish that weighed 20 kilograms! Well, not really 20 kilograms…maybe 2 kilograms…but it FELT LIKE 20 kilograms!” Sometimes we do this “by mistake” and sometimes we do this “to be funny”.
