So, let's talk water 💧
You know you should drink more water. But are you actually doing it?
Why water matters:
Every single cell in your body needs water to function. Water makes up 60% of your body weight. It lubricates your joints, regulates body temperature, flushes waste, supports digestion, and keeps your energy up.
How much do you actually need?
Take your body weight in pounds, divide by 2 = ounces of water per day.
Example: 175 lbs ÷ 2 = 87.5 oz (about 11 cups)
Signs you're dehydrated:
  • Headache
  • Dark yellow urine (or not peeing much)
  • Dry skin
  • Feeling dizzy or low energy
  • Brain fog/irritability
Sound familiar? You're probably not drinking enough.
Water tips:
💧 Start every day with a tall glass of water (before coffee!)
💧 Drink water BETWEEN meals, not during (you don't want to dilute stomach acid)
💧 If you're running to the bathroom constantly when you increase water intake, don't worry—your body will adjust in 3-5 days
💧 Coffee and tea count toward hydration IF you're already meeting your baseline water needs (but alcohol doesn't!)
