Anyone here know Seattle? :)
I am in Seattle this week and am looking forward to eating fresh seafood as much as possible! 😁 When we can enjoy fresh, local seasonal foods, we maximize nutrient density. Anyone here have some favorite spots in Seattle? I am downtown in the ❤️ of the city. TIY!

Friday Humor
😁 🤪 I talk to myself out loud (some of you are chuckling because you know I talk about this), even in public. I burst into song all the time - both in my head and out loud! 😆 I am a bit of a goofball and can find humor in dark times. And I embrace who I am! Over the years, I keep finding my people - the ones who are also unapologetically who they are! ❤️ What are your quirks?

I am occasionally 20 years behind on fashion. I can be a bit literal unless you catch me in a light moment... I also talk to myself, and if there is an opportunity to make something alliterative, I'm probably gonna do it. 😆

@Jeanna Finch Well, we get along. ;-)
Feel Good Friday - Two Eggs for Breakfast
Ha ha! The memes with this guy seem to be endless. Either they're all pretty funny, or I'm just easily amused (could be the latter), but they all make me smile, this one included. We might be like-minded thinkers! When someone works with Dr. Steve closely, they follow his plan. That may include breakfast at first, and it may not. It may include breakfast for a while, and then pushing out your first meal of the day by a few hours (a longer non-eating period is when we burn more fat). However, everyone is different and gets a personalized plan. Everyone will prioritize protein, though, and two eggs (erm, eggies) will get you around 14 grams. Three would get you around 21 or so grams of protein. If you had coffee or tea with some collagen, you're at the 30 grams of protein to start your day that's recommended for blood sugar stability and satiety. Are you an egg-eater for breakfast? I make a huge frittata every week or so, and sometimes it's not even breakfast - it's dinner! Happy Friday, All.

Peaches!!
On this Tasty Tuesday, I have peaches on the brain. 🍑 After all, they are in season right now. I don't share a lot of desserts, as I am not a big sweets person, but this dish is one I created that is fully AIP (autoimmune protocol) compliant - free of grains, dairy, gluten and refined sugar. If I am going to indulge, I try to go for the best quality! I am dropping the link here to Twin Kitchens, so you can check out my AIP Peach Cobbler: https://twinkitchenscom.wpcomstaging.com/2020/08/11/aip-peach-cobbler-from-twin-kitchens/

YUM! I'm just in the mindset of what veggies (or fruits) can I cook, since I'm trying to avoid anything raw until this parasite thing is more sorted out. I'm reminded you can cook almost anything!
Another lesson I was reminded of today...
Deep breathing is great (see prior post) but this is also a valuable lesson when things are a little crazy! 😆
