Before I commit to building any cold email campaign, I run two checks.
First: Is the TAM big enough? If I can't find a large pool of qualified leads to reach, cold email just isn't the channel.
Second: Can the offer convert cold traffic? Not every business translates well to cold outreach. A high-ticket price helps. But more important is whether there's a compelling angle that makes a stranger want to respond.
I've seen campaigns fail not because of bad copywriting or poor deliverability, but because the business failed one of these two checks before a single email went out.
Run the check first. Save yourself 60 days.
