Triples
I've been reading some posts and noticed people do double and triple ETFs like TQQQ. For those who are new to the game, read about them and make sure you understand how they work.
Specifically, what I mean: when QQQ goes 1% up in ONE day TQQQ goes up 3%. Similarly, SQQQ goes down 3%. However, this is NOT true long-term. If one buys QQQ today and, just as an example, three months from now, QQQ is at the same price where it is today, then she does not make any and does not lose. However, both SQQQ and TQQQ will LOSE money.
