Newbie Alert! ๐Ÿ˜
Hello from wonderfully overcast London, UK! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿพ
My name's LaYinka (la-yin-ka), and I'm new to the world of formal world of facilitation, despite having solid experience in education and coaching over the last 13 years.
I love how my coaching skillset is transferrable in facilitation, and would say that I've often been facilitating without the formal label, and I'm looking forward to diving into the career path and becoming an amazing facilitator.
My first port of call has been to enrol in Facilitator Fundamentals, which has been a great learning experience so far, and I plan to enrol on further courses with AJ&Smart once I'm done. For now, I'm learning, staying curious, and deepening my knowledge (aaaaaaaaaand busting thoughts of 'OMGoodnessssss, you're surrounded by so many ah-may-zing professionals in this space โ€” what're you doing here?!').
I'd absolutely love tips for those of us starting out in facilitation. It does feel like I'm out of my depth.
Looking forward to learning (from) and growing alongside you all!
