Today I personally practiced the box squat variation
I video taped myself doing it at first I noticed my box was too high where I wasn’t getting deep enough squat
The weight at the higher box was about a 7 RPE so I decided to drop down the box height and keep the weight. When I did this I went down and then couldn’t re-engage my muscles to stand back up (a buddy came to help me get back up)🙏🏼 I then lowered the weight with the lower box
An experienced powerlifter at the gym helped give me advice to engage my lats and my glutes more. I also was rolling up on my toes when I came up where I needed to ground myself into the floor more
