How do you manage being a father, Professional, fighter, husband, and coach all at the same time what’s the perfect balance to all of that I’ve been, still figuring it out for almost 8 years in a relationship 5 years as a coach, and 6 as a father?
With great difficulty to be honest. I’m starting a time management planner next week. I try to get my work done when they’re at crèche or school and no phone time for me between when they arrive home from school and I leave for work tonight. I know coach Phil has everything in his schedule down to time with Mrs Daru. I think like training we have to prioritise different things at different times. I can say with experience you don’t get the time with your kids back when they’re older . You’ll see them less and less Alessandro Frossali on instagram is incredible at opening our eyes to our relationship with our wives and seeing their point of view which will never occur to us . He’s a real game changer Hope some of this is useful as I have the same struggle Last point your time is precious so don’t sell it cheaply for pt sessions
@Nathan Cortez I do find if you set out your times and don’t budge the clients will find a way to make it happen . James smith discusses it in his business course on personal training. They say they can’t make it but when you say that’s too bad magically they can adjust their schedule. Same with the price too. Inflation is a real thing especially at the supermarket and gas station . But lots of PTs are charging the same price as 5 years ago.. that’s just taking things away from our families table .
I have kids from 8 to 17 competing mma where they weigh in an hour or two before they fight. I have guidelines for them but I’d be grateful for any advice to improve on 🙏🏻🙏🏻
