I’m halfway through my work week. I was assigned a much lower intense assignment this evening. This gave me the chance to sit down and breathe … which means I’m also now feeling physically tired and mentally tired (however grateful to have a low stress night)
What I’m focused on today: appreciation of the fact that the routine I requested is now in action this week. Even though I’m tired I see the plan = the light at the end of the tunnel
Obstacle & plan: after I get off shift today I plan to go home and take my dog Herby for his long run of the week (he just started running he can’t do more than 2 miles at the moment). I am prepared for the fact that he will have a had a nice deep sleep over the night (I give him melatonin/stress treat) so when I come home he will be ready to go🔥 I know when I get home I will just want to pass out. But sticking to the plan soaking up his energy we will go for a long run to start his day off strong and end me day strong as well
