❄️ WIN: Showed up tired, cold, and still held my own ❄️
Cold weather slaps 🥶
Didn’t feel like going. Dragged my body anyway.
I’m still easing back into things after strength day yesterday at 24 Hour Fitness, so today was about listening to my body — not chasing perfection.
Foxtrot cardio was no joke.
I started at Station 1 (battle ropes) and worked my way through the room — bike erg, kettlebell swings, jumps, lunges — slowly making my way to Station 9 (SkiErg).
By the time I got there, I was already winded and tired… and that’s when coach dropped the endurance test 😮‍💨
4 SkiErg laps:
  • 45s work / 15s rest
  • 20s work / 10s rest
  • repeat
We had a scoreboard for the 5am & 6am classes, and I finished at 521 meters.
Not the top score — but a strong, consistent finish under fatigue, especially while still recovering, and I’ll take that win all day.
Proud because:
  • I showed up on a cold morning
  • I respected recovery without backing off completely
  • My endurance held when I was already tired
Question for you:
👉 Do you feel more proud of workouts where you PR… or the ones where you show up tired and still get it done?
On to the next 💥❄️💪
