Tough Thursday check-in šŸ„¶šŸ’Ŗ
The past two days I’ve been short on steps and didn’t hit my 10K goal. That said—I did not miss HIIT or strength.
  • Wednesday: Up at 6am for HIIT. Felt like I gave it my all… my heart monitor said otherwise šŸ˜… still showed up.
  • Today: Alarm set for 5am to make a 6am lift. The cold weather won this round 🄶 Snoozed and went back to sleep.BUT—I still went at 12:30pm.
Gym was busy, benches were taken, so I adapted and used equipment for chest incline press and supine press. It wasn’t hard—it was challenging. Big difference. Learning to adapt instead of quitting.
I’ll be real—the blue bug hit my emotions today and I felt that urrrgghhh feeling. Motivation was low. Steps were low. Energy was meh.
But I still showed up and executed what I needed to do.
Putting this out there for anyone else feeling unmotivated today—you’re not alone. You don’t need perfect days. You just need to show up anyway.
šŸ‘‰ Question for y’all: when motivation is low, what helps you still get it done—routine, accountability, or just stubborn grit?
