How I Handle Food Events Without Guilt
Food festivals, family outings, vacations — this applies no matter where you are in your journey.
🧠 My Simple Framework:
Enjoy what you love.
Taste what you’re curious about.
Share the rest.
✅ How I Decide:
- If I love it → I eat it and enjoy it
- If I’m just curious → I take 1–2 bites
- If I won’t finish it → I share half
- Sometimes it’s one bite split between me, my partner, and my daughter
🥢 What I Shared / Took Bites Of:
- Kung Pao plant-based bao bun
- Quesabirria eggroll
- Popcorn chicken
- Bulgogi French fries
- Hot & spicy crispy bao bun
- Mickey jalapeño cream cheese pretzel
🍓 My Non-Negotiables (Didn’t Share):
- Strawberry macarons
- Japchae noodles with short rib
🎯 Why This Works:
✔️ You stay present
✔️ You remove guilt
✔️ You avoid the “all or nothing” mindset
✔️ Progress continues — even on fun days
📊 Bonus movement: 17,519 steps just by enjoying the day 👟✨
💬 Question:
