Songkran isnโ€™t just water fights! ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ”ซ
Songkran is the traditional Thai New Year, celebrated every year from April 13โ€“15.
But the meaning goes way deeper than just water fights๐Ÿ‘‡
Songkran marks the transition into a new year based on the sunโ€™s movement.
Itโ€™s basically Thailandโ€™s version of:
  • resetting your habits
  • letting go of the past
  • starting clean
Before all the crazy street parties and raves (which I will attend tonight ๐Ÿ˜„), there are meaningful rituals behind it:
  • Pouring water over Buddha statues โ†’ symbolizes purification
  • Pouring scented water on eldersโ€™ hands โ†’ showing respect + asking for blessings
  • Visiting temples and making merit
The way I see it...
Everyone talks about โ€œstarting freshโ€ in January. But a lot of people already fell off by now.
Songkran can be your second shot.
A chance to let go of the baggage from the last 3 months.

I know only a few of us here are from Thailand / living in Thailand, but let's do this exercise together shall we???
  1. Reply with 1 habit thatโ€™s been holding you back
  2. Reply with 1 non-negotiable (steps, protein, or workouts)
And remember: for the rest of the year, you are "a dial", not an on/off switchโ€ผ๏ธ
Tell yourself that you won't need another reset. You just need to dial back and continue doing what you can.

GO AHEAD AND SHARE, and have a SAFE SONGKRAN! โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ
