Well all, I have started again, from scratch, at least that’s what it feels like. I’ve had a rough few days and haven’t been able to stick to my normal workout routine. Last week our family dog suddenly passed away. Apparently, one day of sadness was all it took to weaken my immune system and I got whatever sickness has been running around this petrie dish of a town I live in. I spent 5 days straight in bed! Yesterday, I finally was alert enough for normal conversation and today I felt like I had enough energy to get back at it! So, I managed 30 mins of cardio and 20 mins of weight training. It was not enjoyable. But it was a start. I’m not sure I have any bounce in my bounce back anymore! 😂
Also, my daughter made chocolate chip cookies this morning and when she asked if they tasted good, luckily my tastebuds had bounced back and the cookie was delicious!
