One small win from the last 7 days
I got sick for what felt like all of February, so my body’s been on a slow and gentle recovery. This week I was able to get a little more movement in again.
I play volleyball once a week with family and friends—it’s one of my favorite ways to relieve stress. I hadn’t played in almost two weeks, and even before that my body was still recovering so I felt slower and stiffer than usual.
This week I started to feel a little more like myself. I still took it slow and listened to my body, but I was able to have fun and get a good sweat in again.
One thing I’ve been learning from Coach Tyler is that progress doesn’t always look like pushing harder. Sometimes it’s just showing up again when your body is ready.
