Tomorrow marks Week 5 since starting the plan I originally laid out. I was most shocked at the measurement results! I went into it preparing myself with, “Don’t expect too much, Priscilla. You’re still in the beginning of this journey.” I’m only 5’2” So, I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how my clothing fits and face is looking. I don’t know why I was skeptical about measurements not reflecting that. Anyway, here are my most recent results. 💪🏼
Weight loss: -8lbs (-3.63kg)
Body fat: -2.4%
Waist: -3.4 inches
Hips: -1.0in
Neck: -0.63in
Chest: -1.5in
Things I’m still working on-
💦 drinking enough water. It’s so challenging!
💪🏼 hitting protein goals. I’m happy to hit 100g rather than my original “anchor” goal 😬
🍟 guessing at calories for social meals
🥗 streamlining meal prep
💤 getting consistent sleep hours, and actually resting when I get sick- which has been twice since starting 😩 (I work with 3-5yos)
The mantras that help me most:
📈 “never miss two in a row”
❓ asking myself, “Will I hit my goal weight on time?” (Posing it this way wakes up the brain to answer yes and I feel my inner 🔥 light up with a “Hell yeah” then proceed to execute the behavior or habit I’m trying to establish)
