Blew out the Timing Case Gasket (Compounds)
Timing Case Gasket "Blown Out". This picture is under the P7100 Pump and adjacent to the timing pin. I am beginning to think that maybe running 58 psi of intake manifold pressure is overcoming the Case Dual Valve Cover Breather. I installed a Keating Tappet Cover along with the Case Breather when the new engine was built. While there is barely any oil dripping out the breather tube, I wonder if under WOT I have enough blow by (Total Seal Gapless Rings) to temporality overcome a single breather and raise crankcase pressure to extreme conditions. Does anyone have experience with compounds and a single or dual upper Case set of valve covers? You can see the dual valve cover breather in the photo of the engine.
