Head gasket failure again
So long story short(well semi short). I bought my truck way back in August now previous owner did a head gasket roughly forty Thousand kms before I bought the truck and with in 24 hours of owing I blew the gasket so after a couple months of denial, I replaced it in December took my head to a machine shop local and they said it was blown on 4-5 5-6 steam port and they took some off, they didn't specify. I put it all together with a oe Cummins gasket and after 3 weeks of driving it under boost and high rpm I head gasket chatter and coolant blowing everywhere. The block was straight when I had the head off. What's my best option ie just replace the gasket, replace the head with a known good one. I'm leaning towards just replacing the head but want your guys opinion. And yes the truck is tune and deleted and it has a mini max v1 and the truck has 411,000k on it
Modifying gear cover to work with DAP adjustable timing gear
If anyone is thinking of modifying there gear cover to use an adjustable DAP gear I am using a Harley Davidson Derby engine timing cover. (Found on Amazon) I like how it has a Oring on the inside hopefully it doesn’t leak but I feel it will be less of a pain to pull off not having to use RTV Silicone if I don’t have to. Welding on 3/16 steel ring, then will drill and tap the five holes. Plan is to use blue lock tight to keep the bolts from loosening. On the derby cover the Oring is inside of the fastening holes so the bolts shouldn’t need to be sealed and the blue lock tight should seal the threads.

3d printing / cnc
Not sure if you guys are into 3d printing. I just started playing with cad and 3d printing. I want to get into making some on the cnc but I want to design and program the stuff myself so I can make changes on the fly. Both of these I had all the help with lol. But I am learning

Is this concerning?
The block has some low spots around coolant passages. Thoughts?
