Working on 12v heads today.
Well seems I am swapped with 12v for the next couple weeks. Today’s job. Clean up the shop a bit and finish these to heads off. What’s everyone doing today

Sealing up oil leaks on my 12 valve. I am looking forward to driving my truck again after sitting around for 3 months post rotator cuff surgery. It is nice to be able to do stuff once again.

Curious issue of timing case bolts loosening.
I've been chasing some oil leaks on a 10 month old engine rebuild. Turns out the front timing case bolts are doing what I suspect is compressing the gasket and sealer and in turn "loosing torque". Anyone ever experienced this or have input to something I did incorrectly?

P-Pump Timing Cover Mods for Injection Pump Gear Access
Last year I modified my timing cover to access to my DAP adjustable timing gear. The access plate has begun to leak oil and today I am modifying the removable portion for better sealing.

Seeing some of you give poor experiences with Diesel Truck Suppliers. ALWAYS check Geno's Garage in Cummings, GA for replacement parts before anyone else. You will not find a better company to deal with! They are awesome. I wish they carried performance items in addition to the specialty things they do carry. They have the starter rebuild kits, dashes, vacuum pump rebuild kits, filters, etc, hundreds of other things. And they send you their catalog with every order.
