1st gen summer....
So i have been busy busy with my 1st gen i got it and it was extremely rough, after ALOT of cutting and welding and changing some doors, and converting a door from manual to power... fenders hood rockers, drip rail on top some box panel patchs and about 200 dents..... i finally stopped trying to fix all the dents so some will just have to stay hahaha.... anyways its a shit ton of work i have done and alot more to come.... but i started painting it and i am doing this all outside in my parking spot, in the middle of the mountains. sanding a truck to bare metal is the most time consuming thing you will do.. probably 80 hours in just sanding.... i know it is a sin to paint outside, bugs dust just everything. but i am doing it for the love of the truck! ill post more pictures and stuff at the end of the summer. just figured some people might enjoy seeing it. cheers
1st gen summer....

Nice progress!
Business is not for the faint of heart
Well as you guys no the seat and guide is down. That’s only part of the story on the aug 7th we had an attempted bank hack on the business account. So we have had no access to the account till today. Good times. But on the bright side we move a bunch of shop stuff and the new seat and guide machine showed up today at 4pm. So the last few weeks have been just stupid. I am going to be glad when the shop is done and I am moved.

I figured you would take the downtime to move stuff to the new shop. Glad you have your new machine up and running.
Easy way to spend a 100k

@Robert Winkworth Amazing surface finish for a single point cutter! It looked polished. I'm thinking from the video, a finish of 2 or 3 microinches? Would you even finish up with lapping after this?

I had already thought about not sheeting the roofing so you could stand between the rafters before you mentioned it. I am all about using every spot possible for storage.

As many times as you have stopped a video to turn off the air compressor, maybe put it out back within a small locked lean to?
