Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend. I have a question about video retention. I'm experiencing a significant drop-off right from the intro on my educational YouTube channel. How do you deal with this? Are there any strategies you've found helpful for improving retention without relying heavily on visuals, B-roll, or other production elements?
I've tried keeping the intro short and clear, explaining what the video is about, and then briefly introducing myself and my expertise in the field. Could the issue be that I'm new to YouTube and haven't built trust with my audience yet? I'm curious about how I can build that trust and maintain better retention. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
