Question: Improving old videos
https://youtu.be/7s0oPV4U5Oc?list=PLn80YGaRpVdKZPIvp5ziTqRd6gYAN-Mmq&t=569 Here Alexa mentions the value of keeping a viewer inside of your ecosystem. Specifically she calls out, "improving old videos" What does that mean specifically? Re-recording? Or just updating title/thumbnail/description/metadata? Is there an any reason NOT to do those things? Any Penalty?
Question regarding CTR
Hi all, I know this is super early to be asking this given I only posted my first video yesterday, but I did something today and I wanted to get some thoughts from those of you with more experience. I'm doing the 30 day series, and one of them mentioned that the following 24 hours is another opportunity where YouTube will re-test your video. So I did an "experiment" (not sure if I can call it that with a single video 😬) Anyway, I changed the thumbnail, title and description. That's it. As a part of the series, I learned a little more about how to think about my title/thumbnail, so I just figured I should make an adjustment. Within an hour my CTR jumped up to 22% (was 2% yesterday and flat lined over night). I didn't get a ton of views in total and my avg watch time is only 1:55 on that video. I got bored watching it too 🤣 So what I'm wondering is how quickly can you interpret analytics like the CTR realistically? This is a terrible example I know, but it put the question in my mind, so I'm really just asking while I think about it (more for future me tbh). Any insights appreciated 😬

Hey everyone 👋 I'm Parush, a Content Strategist focused on helping coaches, consultants, educators, and personal brands get more value from content they've already created. One thing I've noticed is that many creators spend hours recording long-form content, but only a small percentage of the best ideas ever get seen. I'm particularly interested in helping new creators in their long form content repurposing, short-form video strategy, and helping experts turn one piece of content into multiple assets across different platforms. Curious to know: What's your biggest challenge with content right now—coming up with ideas, recording, editing, consistency, or distribution? Looking forward to learning from everyone here and contributing where I can.

Teleprompter.com Issue
Hello YouTubers! I just purchased Teleprompter.com and downloaded my first script and all ready to record BUT, it is unreadable. The words are all stretched out and I cannot see how to fix it. I reached out to them and their AI agent was not helpful so now I'm waiting for a human! Any Teleprompter.com users here? Any ideas? The learning curve on all this is so painful! But everyone has a first video and I'm just going to keep going! The good news is there's a yapping dog at a nearby park and I can't record anyway! lol
