Hi friends I have recently been made redundant and now have the opportunity to increase my YouTube videos and really try to make something bigger out of it. I have a budgeting channel which makes about £100 a month in adsense, and im trying to create some other income streams on the back of that. Im ready to do something more, and wondered what others would suggest to the following: I would like to create a podcast interviewing entrepreneurial wonen about their work and story, not necessarily related to budgets.. would you do this on a separate channel or risk creating it on your existing channel? Anyone know much about the shorts algorithm? Without going into all the detail, ive had shorts doing reasonably well for my channel for some time, then suddenly the view counts have dropped dramatically and im working hard to understand why, but im puzzled by it. Very high "stayed to watch" percentage, but it seems low percentage and numbers of them being shown in feed .. im stumped When it first happened I had uploaded a short which had "glitched" on upload and repeated itself, meaning the retention graph showed a sharp drop in people staying to view, exactly half way through, but that doesn't explain the next three shorts being as low also. Any advice would be welcome 🙏

Hi Brains Trust, I have developed another app called Webinar Livestream which I'm putting through its paces at present. I am wondering if there would be at least 3 + people who would be willing to get on a video conference with me please. This being so I can test how the app handles more than 2 people. This app is different to the Creators Sidekick App. Webinar Livestream is an app to host - Webinars/Video Conferences/Presentations/Interviews/Panel Discussions etc. - Set up as a webinar platform with features such as break out rooms (3), share screen etc. - Livestream for free (using OBS) to YT - Along the same philosophy as Creators Sidekick, in that hosts set up their Cloudflare account which I as the developer have no access to. (Creators Sidekick one sets up a free Supabase account). All the more the merrier, so to speak. I could do 10.30am my time (Aussie Sydney) Saturday 9th which would be 8.30PM Friday 8th August, (New York Time or 7.30pm Texas time) if people are interested. It's been a while since I've been active in this group. I actually started a new YouTube channel about a month ago for my new business , but I'm only posting shorts (for now). Are long-form videos on YouTube only addressed in this group or also shorts ?
