I'll be honest, I was reluctant to jump on the word of the year bandwagon. 2026 will be the 4th year in a row that I've chosen a word of the year and I am now EXCITED about my word of the year! I can look back at the 3 words from past years and see the trajectory of my business and this year feels super aligned. I'll share... but I want to hear from you!

Ever notice how when you're dancing or when you're giving an energetic musical performance that you don't feel any pain while you're doing it? But the moment that you stop, you get this insane pain, and sometimes you don't even know where it came from? The secret to conquering your financial pain? Never stop dancing!! My business is built upon getting more pain now to prevent further future pain—to save you from my scars. The key? I gamify the scary, painful parts. I make the necessary action into a game---turning client acquisition into my new "dance". For example, I set a goal to do 100 DMs and/or emails per day for client acquisition. Every morning, I put a paper out, and I put a tick mark on it for every dm/ reach out that I do. If I don't hit my goal before I go to bed, I just try to beat that number the next day. I don't feel the pain because I keep moving. I keep "dancing." So, I got my first TV appearance, which was terrifying because I'm an introvert and a writer. But I'm coming out of my shell and doing more. I'm getting more pain: getting on more shows and, right now most importantly, doing the "dance" of DMing more people and emailing more potential clients one-on-one. It’s very painful getting rejected, getting ignored, all that stuff. But if I'm going to teach you that, I have to do it and live it myself. Because eventually, there are going to be more people who are going to see my value—value that has been recognized by people just like Gary Vaynerchuk Evan Carmichael, Dr. John Demartini , Travis Chappell and others featured in my Minute with a Millionaire series.
