Did you leave your "jingle" but forget to "mingle"??? 😂
Thank you to everyone who has already shared their #headline for today's prompt, I promise I will read them all sometime today! One of the important parts of the party is that you interact with others' posts and get to know some of your fellow community members. Imagine you walked into a party and yelled, "Who's ready for a good time????" and then you turned around and walked out! If you posted and ghosted, that is essentially what you've done! Building a business is about building relationships and getting to know people even if it doesn't seem immediately apparent that they might be interested in your community - their sister-in-law might be, their neighbour might be.... And even if it doesn't lead to a lead, it's still a nice way to connect with another community owner. So get back out there, and start commenting! 😉

Day 1: Your #Headline Moment 🗞️ Let The Party Begin! 🎉
The CLASSIFIEDS posting party has officially begun, and you are all invited!!! 🥳 The tagline for the Classifieds is: “The only place where YOU are the headline.” 1. So, your task IN A NEW POST (under communities): Write your Classifieds Headline - one clear sentence that captures what your community is about. 2. Then, add one sentence describing your ideal group member (Do not use “anyone,” “everyone,” or “someone” in your description). 3. Include a gif that represents the vibe of your group. 4. Don’t forget the CTA! Leave an invitation to join your group and include the link. Example: My Classifieds HeadlineThe Classifieds: The only place where Skool group owners become the headline - building visibility, collaborations, and confidence to promote their communities with pride. My Ideal Group Member:A purpose-driven Skool owner who’s done waiting to be discovered and is ready to take up space by posting, connecting, and being seen. Remember the rules of engagement: 1. Have fun with it and don't overthink it! 2. Be careful about WHERE to post. I will let you know if you should post in the comments or in a new thread. 3. For every post you make, leave at least 2 comments on other people's posts. It’s not a party unless everyone is involved, so go grab the wallflowers and ask them a question or two!  4. Try to make thoughtful comments and/or ask questions. This is a great opportunity to build relationships and get to know each other - a crucial skill in business. Gifs are fun, but are not considered a comment by themselves. 😉 Make it fun, but also make it work for you. This is a great opportunity to get eyes on your community and what you do as well as build meaningful relationships with other Skoolers! I can't wait to see how you all show up! 😉

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

This Workshop Is About SEO for The Classifieds (And Why I Didn't Say That Until Now)
Okay, you caught me. 😅 Remember that PSA @Shannon Boyer posted about the CLASSIFIEDS being a public group? The one where she explained that everything here is indexed by Google? Yeah... that was the setup. Because here's what I didn't tell you in the original workshop announcement: The workshop on January 30 is 100% about SEO for public Skool groups. It's about making your Skool posts discoverable. Getting your community found by people searching Google for what you offer. Understanding why some posts show up in search results and others disappear into the void. That's literally search engine optimization. But I didn't call it that in the announcement. And now you're probably wondering why. 🤫Here's why I kept it vague: If I had named it "SEO for Skool Workshop," here's what would've happened: Some of you would've thought: • "I already know SEO. This isn't for me." (and you'd miss how it applies specifically to Skool) • "SEO sounds too technical. I'm not ready for that." (even though this is beginner-friendly) • "I don't care about Google. I just want to network." (but you're missing organic growth opportunities) And ALL of those people would've disqualified themselves before even hearing what I have to share. So I called it "Make Your CLASSIFIEDS Posts Work Harder for You." Same workshop. Same valuable content. Just... less intimidating. More inclusive. But now the cat's out of the bag. 🐱 And honestly? I'm glad. Because after Shannon posted that PSA, I dropped this comment: > "And THIS is why you want to be at the workshop on January 30th!!!" Here's what this "SEO for Skool" workshop actually covers: ✅ How to make your Classifieds posts discoverable on Google (without feeling like a tech nerd) ✅ Why some posts get found by people searching for solutions weeks later—and others vanish ✅ What I have discovered from analyzing 100+ CLASSIFIEDS posts and rating them for discoverability
