HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! ๐Ÿ˜‰ This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. #Breaking News: Not Every Baby Animal Needs to Be Rescued
One of the biggest mistakes well-meaning people make is assuming every baby animal they find has been abandoned. Many mothers leave their babies alone while they search for food. Deer, rabbits, and many birds do this every day. If the baby isn't injured and isn't in immediate danger, the best thing you can often do is watch from a distance and give the parents a chance to return. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is simply let wildlife be wild. If you'd like more simple tips like this, along with inspiring animal stories and trusted organizations making a difference, I'd love to welcome you to Empowering Animals.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Sometimes the Best Business Ideas Come When You Step Away
One thing I appreciate about holidays like the 4th of July is that they give us permission to slow down. As entrepreneurs, we're constantly solving problems, checking emails, serving clients, and thinking about what's next. But sometimes the best ideas don't come while we're workingโ€”they come when we give ourselves the space to think. This weekend gave me one of those moments. I recently had a bookkeeping intern complete their internship. They did a good job learning bookkeeping and made steady progress throughout the program. But what really stood out to me wasn't just their bookkeeping skills. They had a great attitude. They showed up consistently. They weren't afraid to ask questions. They genuinely enjoyed connecting with people. My initial thought was, "Maybe bookkeeping isn't the best long-term fit, and we'll simply wrap up the internship." But after a few days of reflection, I remembered something. As leaders, our job isn't just to evaluate people. It's to mentor them and help them discover where their natural strengths can create the most value. Maybe bookkeeping isn't where they'll shine the brightest. Maybe their real strength lies in building relationships, networking, and connecting business owners with the bookkeeping support they need. That shift in perspective completely changed how I thought about their future. It reminded me that just because someone isn't the strongest in one area doesn't mean they aren't a great fit for the team. Sometimes we simply need to stop asking, "What are they not good at?" and start asking, "Where can they thrive?" That was one of my biggest takeaways from this 4th of July weekend. What about you? Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR P.S. If you know a business owner who wants to have stronger confidence in bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online, have them check out the DBR Bookkeeping Community.

Want More Member Engagement? Give Your Community Something to Talk About #breakingnews
One of the quickest ways to do that is to invite your members to build in public. Not in an anxiety-inducing "come teach a masterclass," or "show us your perfectly executed thing" kinda way. Just a "show us what youโ€™re working on, we're GENUINELY interested" kinda way. e.g. ๐Ÿงถ If you have a knitting community, invite folks to share challenging sweater patterns they're trying to figure out. ๐Ÿฆฎ If you're a dog trainer, your members can share their dogs' favorite enrichment activities. Then other members can weigh in with stuff like: โ€œWhat else have you tried?โ€ โ€œHave you considered this?โ€ "Holy shit that's genius, I've never thought to try that!" โ€œOhhh, I have the exact same problem.โ€ IDK about you, but I don't want my community to be a dusty old content library with just a wall of posts by ME. I want it to be a lively place people actually want to return to and chat with each other. Where they might not even miss that I step out for a day or two! Because our members might have come for information. But they stay to feel less alone, get unstuck, be seen by people who get it, and occasionally borrow a brilliant idea from someone who's a few steps ahead. It's like the dragon boat club I run. People come for my coaching, but they stay for each other. They don't plan lunches and outings and game nights with me... they plan them with each other. They become friends, advocates, supporters, collaborators. That is a community. Not just people who show up to learn how to paddle and then just slink off home again. This week, inside Funnel Forensics, weโ€™re running a 7-day show-and-tell event we're calling Open Case Files (because, detective theme). Several members are popping the hood on the customer journeys, funnels, email flows, offer paths, or business systems they're building out or trying to fix. It's going to be EPIC, seeing the behind-the-curtain thought processes, ideas, strategies, and problem-solving shenanigans that go on. I'd love for you to join us, cheer our community presenters on, and spark some ideas for yourself too!
