When a “busy season” feeling is finally over…
And if you’re an entrepreneur… You know exactly what I mean Maybe it was tax season … Or a big launch A heavy client load A stretch where everything hit at once We all have our version of “that season.” Long days Constant problem-solving “Just one more thing” moments So here’s your reminder this weekend: It’s okay to rest Working hard is part of the journey… But so is resetting. Take a step back Clear your mind Recharge a bit Because there’s always another season coming.... And you’ll show up better if you’re not running on empty And if business finances stressed you out... it may be time to face those challenges and improve your skills in the DBR Bookkeeping community. Why do profitable businesses still go out of business?
An area many businesses of ALL sizes struggle with... cash flow! Cash flow is simple: Money coming IN vs money going OUT Most businesses don’t fail because they aren’t profitable. They fail because they run out of cash You can have: • Strong revenue • Solid margins • Growing demand And still… Not have enough cash to pay bills 🧠 Why this happens: • Payments come in too slowly • Expenses go out too quickly • No clear system to track it 💡 Cash flow isn’t just a number… It’s the lifeline of your business If you don’t understand it… You can’t control it If you need help getting clarity on your numbers and building a stronger financial foundation… Check out DBR Bookkeeping. Do you feel confident in your current cash flow… or are you guessing? Let’s keep Doing Business Right. DBR

@Jon Whitehead This is so true. This is where you're looking at cash flow at a much bigger picture. Great insight!
Warning: contains actual numbers and zero fake success stories.
Are you sick of watching people talk about their $30k months while you're still trying to figure out how to make your first $1k without quitting your job? Same. Which is why I'm not doing that. I'm still in my 9-to-5. I'm building a business alongside it in real time. And every month I run a new experiment - list growth, bundles, offers, systems - and share exactly what happened. The real numbers. The things that worked. The things that absolutely did not. This month's experiment: can I get 100 community members in 30 days by hosting my first ever bundle? Current count: 40. Days left: 25. Verdict: genuinely unclear. 😂 If you're building a business alongside a job and you're tired of advice from people who forgot what the early stages actually feel like, come on in. It's free. There are resources waiting for you. And at minimum you’ll probably cringe/laugh at my mistakes but ideally you'll get to watch someone figure this out in real time and steal what works. 👉 From Job to CEO: The Experiment

@Niky Egerton Yes it is. I left that job in Sep of 2023. 2.5 years later... I'm still going!

@Niky Egerton making the decision to focus on myself and my business. I came across a bit of cash so, I said if there is a moment to take the leap. Its now.
How long can you endure boring repetition?
Here’s something most people don’t talk about in entrepreneurship… 👉 Success is often built on doing boring things… over and over again How long can you endure repetition? A month? A year? A decade? Because the reality is: There are a LOT of repetitive tasks in business • Following up with leads • Posting content • Managing finances • Tracking numbers It’s not always exciting… But it’s necessary What I’ve learned: If you can embrace the “boring”… You give yourself a real chance to win That’s also why I focus on learning and growing… Even while doing the mundane Because the goal isn’t just to work… It’s to get better while you work This is something we emphasize inside the DBR Bookkeeping community. Simple systems. Consistent actions. Real growth. So back to boring tasks.... how long can you endure mundane tasks?? Let’s keep Doing Business Right. DBR
