Want to Know the Sexiest Thing About Business? (Hint: It's Not Sales.)
Landing a new client? Sexy. Closing a big sale? Sexy. Launching a new product or service? Sexy. Getting a glowing five-star review? Definitely sexy. Bookkeeping? ...Not exactly. 😄 But here's what most entrepreneurs eventually discover: Behind every thriving business is someone who understands their numbers. They know: - 💰 How much profit they're actually making. - 📊 Which products and services create the biggest returns. - 🏦 Whether they have enough cash to weather slow months and invest in growth. - 🧾 How to legally keep more of what they earn through smart tax planning. - 📈 When it's the right time to hire, expand, or make their next big move. Bookkeeping isn't about reconciling bank accounts or categorizing transactions. It's about giving you the information to make confident business decisions. Because bookkeeping may not be sexy... but CONFIDENCE is. Confidence in your numbers. Confidence in your decisions. Confidence in your business. Do you think CONFIDENCE is the sexiest thing in business?? Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR P.S. If you know an entrepreneur who enjoys practical conversations about building a stronger business, have them check out the DBR Bookkeeping Community. We don't just talk bookkeeping—we discuss sales, marketing, AI, operations, leadership, and the financial strategies that help businesses grow with confidence.

💼 3 Things I Love (and 3 Things I Don't) About Being Self-Employed
Entrepreneurship is one of the most rewarding journeys you can take—but let's be honest, it isn't always easy. 👍 3 Things I Love 1. Freedom. I get to build a business around my values and vision. 2. Purpose. Every day, I have the opportunity to help people and make a meaningful impact. 3. Growth. Running a business constantly challenges me to learn, improve, and become a better leader. 👎 3 Things That Can Be Challenging 1. Uncertainty. There are no guarantees, and every decision carries some risk. 2. Wearing multiple hats. You're the CEO, marketer, salesperson, customer service representative, and sometimes the janitor—all in the same day. 3. It's hard to "clock out." Your business is always on your mind, even during evenings and weekends. Despite the challenges, I wouldn't trade this journey. The lessons, relationships, and opportunities have been worth every step. What would you add to the list? What's one thing you love—or one challenge you've faced—as a self-employed entrepreneur? Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR P.S. If you're looking to connect with other entrepreneurs, share ideas, ask questions, and grow your business alongside a supportive community, we'd love to have you join the DBR Bookkeeping Community.

@Isabelle Lesschaeve This one is huge! When I started the world of entrepreneurship, most of my network was NOT entrepreneurs and small business owners. It became very lonely, very fast. Had to find community fast!

📌 Life Coach vs Licensed Therapist
This important content is open to everyone. No membership required. CLICK HERE Life coaching is undergoing a significant transformation. As state regulatory boards increase their oversight, the boundary between goal-oriented coaching and clinical mental health therapy is being strictly enforced. It is no longer sufficient to simply state that you are not a therapist; your actual practice and marketing must reflect that distinction. This module provides a vital overview of recent legislative crackdowns, such as the landmark 2025 Utah Senate Bill 48, and offers a comprehensive guide to "red flag" language that could trigger a legal investigation. For any practitioner in the wellness space, understanding these shifting standards is essential to protecting your business and ensuring client safety. By mastering the nuances between achievement-focused guidance and regulated clinical intervention, you can maintain a sustainable, ethical, and legally compliant practice.

A simple and great explanation I heard from a life coach was... Therapist help you sort out the past. Coaches help you sort of the future.
