"Does anyone know someone in Boston?"
"Looking for a roommate in Denver."
"I'm going to Belize in the summer. Who has been and what is a must do?"
"My daughter is moving to Costa Rica for the summer. Any connections?"
We've all seen these posts. Many of us have made them.
When we need help in a place we don't know, we turn to social media and hope the right person sees it.
That got me thinking...
What if instead of hoping, you could instantly see your trusted connections in that city through mutual contacts?
That's one of the problems we're building 6DegreesApp to solve. The people we need are often closer than we thinkβwe just can't see the connection.
And what if, when your recommendation helped someone find a place to stay, a local guide, a travel agent, a community, an event, or even tickets to a game, you could earn a referral commission for making that trusted connection?
Have you ever made a post like this, or helped someone because you saw one?
Tell me your story in the comments.
And if the idea of helping build a platform around trusted connections, referrals, travel, relocation, community, and earning from recommendations interests you, come join us in the 6DegreesApp community. We're building this together from the ground up!
