My handyman came with me and casually said, “Your mom would be so proud of you. You’re totally channeling her — finding ways to save money and restore this place.” Later that day, I checked the electronic receipt in my email and noticed something I hadn’t seen at the sale…The company’s name and logo were Monarch. 🦋 The monarch butterfly is the sign we’ve always associated with my mom — our reminder that she’s near. I have no doubt she led me there. Saving money and restoring this lake property were two things she loved most. Moments like this are why I believe we’re never really doing life alone — even when it feels that way.
