Hosted by our own , Why Your Promo Posts Are Being Ignored - And How To Add Personality So People Actually Give a Toss! is a masterclass you absolutely won't want to miss on Feb 27. Classifieds moderator gave an amazing masterclass on how to do posts that are SEO rich and get you seen outside of Skool (the replay can be found in her ad in the classroom) and now Classifieds moderator Mimi Ramsey is teaching about how to make connections inside (and outside) of the community so that you can make sales. There are two types of posts that get the most traction in this community: those that provide value and those that tell a story (sharing an opinion helps too!). Luckily for us, we have two moderators that specialize in both of these kinds of posts!
Now, here's more from Mimi:

Why Your Promo Posts Are Being Ignored (And How To Add Personality So People Actually Give A Toss)
Let’s be frank. OBVS.
Most promo posts aren’t being ignored because your offer is rubbish. They’re being ignored because they’ve been SAFE-IFIED. Polite-ified. Professional-ified. Stripped of the very thing that makes someone actually CARE.
And I see this ALL THE EFFIN’ TIME.
I’ve been doing businessing 25+ years. Dance. Yoga. Meditation. Events. Promo. Agency world. Online since 2017. I’ve built epic communities from scratch. I’ve helped humans go from “uhm I don’t know what to say” to “HOLY GUACAMOLE THAT ACTUALLY LANDED” in about five minutes flat.
I can spot a personality-stripped promo post from a mile off. PFFFFT. It’s like when someone says “I’m fine” and you know they’re absolutely not fine. Same energy.
Here’s what usually happens…
You’ve got something TOTES EPIC AF. You care about it. You believe in it. But when it’s time to promote, you tidy yourself up. You soften the edges. You remove the opinion. You take out the humour. You take out the weird analogy. You take out the rant. You take out the “did she just say that?” bit.
And suddenly your promo reads like it’s wearing someone else’s shoes. Too tight. Too shiny. Not yours. Pfffft.
Technically fine. Emotionally flat.
Humans don’t buy because something is “clear.” Don’t get me wrong, clear is coo saucel. Clear is helpful. But clear with no personality is like… plain toast. Dry. No butter. No jam. No crunchy stuff. No one’s queuing up for that.
Clear with no personality is like a dating profile that says “I enjoy long walks and food.” Cool story bro. So does everyone.
They buy because something feels RELEVANT. SPECIFIC. Like you get them. Like you’ve been inside their brain for five minutes and nicked their inner monologue. That’s human behaviour, not hack-y nonsense.
Personality isn’t being loud for the sake of it. It’s not being outrageous for clicks. It’s letting your rhythm, your language, your little quirks, your slightly unhinged side thoughts, your northern-ness, your pauses, your “what the dog” moments come THROUGH instead of ironing them out.
Because when you iron yourself out… you iron out the connection, and thats meh
In this session we’ll break down
• Why your promo posts are being scrolled past
• The psychology of attention (what actually makes someone stop mid-thumb)
• How to add personality without feeling like a 🍆
• How to sell without sounding desperate or cult-y
• How to keep your authority AND your edge
No VANILLA nonsense. (Let’s save that for nom nom ice creams.)
No copy-paste templates. No “just use this hook/prompt” and pray.
We’ll talk spine. Story. Buying code. Real humans doing real human things.
If you’re ready to stop posting polite promo and start creating posts that make people go “oooooffff… that’s for me” — well then this is for you.
