Neil Conway 1:59pm Hi good news I’ve been to the county court this morning and I was the only one that turned up DCBL could not be bothered to show and the judge has set aside the CCJ as I had a very good case to argue she said that she would list it for a trial and inform DCBL and see if they would like to pursue the matter any further and if so do I have a good defence I said yes cheers
1st PCN win
Thanks to this group I had my 1st win with a PCN, they gave up after SAR1 👌 Received two letters in the post on the same day. One saying, we give up, you got us and the other saying, do you still want your data. Thanks Peter 👍🏻

Speeding Fine
72 mph in a 60 (M25 J15–16, variable speed limit). What I did.. Didn’t use portal on line - Replied promptly, didn’t guess the driver; relied on s.172(4) after real checks ! - Asked for hard-copy evidence: Section 20 certificate, full image metadata, AMI/MIDAS logs proving the 60mph activation (they quoted “3:00 / 3:06”), the TRO, and maintenance/error logs. Bla bla bla !! - Sent everything Signed For, kept proofs. - Filed a DSAR (police restricted it as “live”), then demanded an internal review. - Stayed polite and cooperative: said we respect road safety and would accept the normal outcome (incl. a course) once a driver is properly identified. What they sent… - Partial bundle: rear photos + a Redflex calibration cert; refused to discuss more until a driver was named. - Then (15/12/2025) a letter saying due to an issue affecting a number of speed cases, there would be no further action on this offence. Outcome - Case closed ! My Takeaway… Document everything, don’t guess the driver, ask for the core records (Section 20, TRO, activation logs, metadata), and keep it civil. Sometimes the system blinks first. 👊💥
Off The Electoral Registers... at last
So this is the best christmas present we could have wished for. After 2 years of writing to dorset clowncil using GDPR, writing to the attorney general, writing to my MP we did it. The thing is we don't know which of the levers we pulled hit the jackpot... or if it was a case of the straw that broke... so I can't really provide direction for you to get remedy for yourselves. One thing that happened (maybe synchronicity?) was that while I was writing to the Clowncil, I got an email from them asking to take a survey... so I immediately did that and made it clear that we no longer were residents residing in dwelling... indeed we'd 'left' the UK (jurisdiction). We got a CCA form which is to correct electoral register information. Maybe that alone was the win? I hope this gives you an incentive to get off the register. It does seem to be the biggest 'claim' on us being taxable PERSONS when we are on these registers.

GDPR Breach - settlement Win 💪🏻♟️
Recently won a claim via settlement agreement...without going into too many details this was agianst a large corperation and resulted in a few thousand £ and avoided court. Important points - Pre action protocol was followed two LBAs were served prior to issuimg a claim, they ignored them both. This is a personal approach, but I want hasty in issuimg a claim, and I think this demonstrates you are equitable and this would be seen favourably if it goes all the way to court. This was a win for sure and the first GDPR win via a court/mcil claim route. This was due to my own learning and understnding of gdpr/sar, filling correctly, pre action protocols and tight paperwork that meant I was able to checmate them and see through their indeffencable defence ♟️💪🏻. This was also due to Peters and Dimebars dedication to knowledge sharing and establishing this group along with others that bring all the resourses available in CMTM, and a massive thanks to Peter and Dimebar and the group as a whole for assisting and sharing knowledge which means wins lime this are possible with the right grounding and attitude...we win or we learn....big thanks and appreciateion 💪🏻♟️🤝🏻
