Tax payer status
I watched a video that @Peter Wilson did, and there was a question about tax to which Peter answered depending if you've declared yourself a "Taxpayer" I recently received a statement from the tax man demanding late payment fees whic,h interestingly are for the last 6 years. I haven't filled a tax return for much longer than that, so I'm assuming the previous assumptions from the tax man as to my taxable status are now statute barred. I've also not been on the register of electors for 20 years. My question is, how do I assert my non tax payer status? Thanks in advance

@Rachel Spencer good luck. Isn't this group absolutely amazing? I've learned more in the last week and a half than I have in years

Moriarty law
This company are threatening to raise the cost of my debt to £527.28 if I don't respond! I'm a carer and vulnerable, I'm giving them everything I can afford! We're cold most of the time, Im paying £400 a month to reduce the debt 😭 from other family members, can they do this? They're registered with the solicitors regulatory, I've practically almost to the point of paying it off and they do this

How did you get on Gail?
Finding the chatbots
@Dave DimeBar @Peter Wilson I was just wondering whether it would be easier to have all the wonderful chatbots on Checkmate The Matrix in the same location? I was just today helping a friend (also on this platform) to find the council tax/hmrc chatbot. It didn't seem to be where I found it last time(?), and in the end I think I found a link to it in one of Dave's posts somewhere. Also a bit laborious to dig them out from the classroom sections. Once we've used them once they are easier to find in the chatgpt history, but for beginners it can be a bit tricky. It might cut down some of the more basic public questions being asked on the forum if they were easier to find. Just a thought 🙂

I'll be honest, I find the chatbots hard to find but I'm a new member. I'd like to see them in a pinned list but I also like reading posts in general as I seem to learn a lot this way
