Shoutout to a few members who are showing exactly what makes Brotherhood of Scent such a strong community. First, @Henry Clay for a great SOTE post on Dua Tobacco of Royals 14. He did what the best fragrance posts do: he gave context, shared his honest take, and made it useful for other members by explaining that while he has not done a side-by-side yet, the fragrance was strong enough on its own to convince him he now wants the original Amouage Royal Tobacco XIV as part of his 50th birthday gift to himself. That kind of post gives people something real to react to, learn from, and build on. (Link to Skool Post) Also, shoutout to the members helping @Michael Douglas in the “Middle Eastern Scent” thread — especially @Jeff Beason, @Matt W, @Paul Bartnicki, @Edward Mooney, and others who jumped in to help a fellow member with recommendations. The original question was simple and useful: favorite Middle Eastern eau de parfum recommendations. And that is exactly where this community shines — members showing up with experience, perspective, and real guidance. (Link to Skool Post) This is what we want more of: Share what you are wearing. Ask good questions. Help another member make a better fragrance decision. That is how our brotherhood gets stronger!

🔥 New House Of Dastan lineup.
From Game Of Joy to 12 Faces — which one would you actually wear? 👉 And which one do you think deserves the most attention from this chart? Also, I’d love your feedback on the chart itself: do you agree with the intensity ratings and the season picks for each one… or would you change any of them?

Bedtime scents
So, I was wondering about how many of you use a particular fragrance or fragrances to either wear to bed or spray your sheets and pillows with. Now that it's getting warmer, I like a clean, woody, ( not citrus) scent to go to sleep with. Depending on how tired I am, I'll either use sculpture homme by Nikos if I'm really beat and know that I'll just knock out. If I'm not so tired, I'll spray Montale's Wood and Spices. Very similar profile, but lasts like Montale frags di, so when I wake up in the middle of the night, that lingering scent calms me and helps me sleep again. Alao, Versace's the dreamer is also in this space. Just FYI. When it's colder outside ,I tend to gravitate towards Laura's Khamrah and Qahwhasine they're warm, enveloping and affordable. Every now and then I'll spray something niche, but I try to save those for being out and social. I'd really like to know how many of you do this and what your favorite scents are for this! All recommendations are appreciated!! Cheers all

My first ever rose fragrance - HoS Ruby Flame
I recently got a discovery set from the House of Sillage, and it came with $100 gift certificate towards a full bottle. I loved one of the scents in the discovery set (The Classic) enough to get a full bottle, but I found it at a discounter for even more of a discount than $100 off the HoS site, so I didn’t use the gift certificate. So then it was kind of burning a hole in my pocket… I definitely liked a few of the other scents in the discovery set, including this one, and separately I got a decant of the Batman Vengence as well — but didn’t feel any were full bottle worthy for the price even after the gift certificate. And then… HoS put Ruby Flame in their online outlet store at a pretty big discount. When I figured out the gift certificate would work for that one too, I pulled the trigger. It’s got a pretty gimmicky bottle - not only does it have the House of Sillage trigger atomizer cover, but it also has this gold lion with ruby eyes motif - but somehow I don’t mind it. This one is interesting to me. It opens with a slightly woody red pepper along with some warm spiciness, but the main attraction is this rich earthy cocoa vibe. It is definitely not a sweet chocolate, it’s kind of this interesting savory chocolate scent, kind of like if you have a box of rich dark chocolate truffles coated in cocoa powder, eat all the chocolates, and the box still has this rich cocoa scent without any of the sweetness along with some cardboard earthiness. Or like how a good mole sauce is rich chocolatey spicy without being sweet. There’s a hint of rose (which for the first time ever doesn’t put me off - I usually can’t stand rose in men’s fragrances) but it doesn’t come across very sweet at all or even very floral at all – this is almost like dried rose petals that add some earthy richness to the already rich cocoa vibe. There’s some patchouli in here also to make it even more earthy in the mids. Maybe this leaves a sillage trail like the name of the house would suggest — I’ll have to ask somebody to check when I walk by them — but for me sitting around the house wearing it today it was lightly projecting and I was getting wafts of it off my arms for about four hours, and then it was a rich skin scent for another ~3 hours more after that. I feel like this scent would work well in all seasons except maybe the hottest of summer, it’s definitely for evenings.
