I'll tell you what this was one of the fragrance that almost kept me out of the niche market. It was my first higher price bottles when I first started. I remember getting it and spraying it in the air and instantly getting mad that I just spent almost $200 on this disgusting bottle of extreme incense junk so I put it down and never picked it up again. About 8 months went by and my son was asking what's my worst bottle and instantly picked it up and sparyed it in the air and BAM!!! It smelled amazing it smelled exactly how I want it to smell and how all the videos on line explained it i read about fragrance maceration but never paid it any mind. My god it is a real thing and I'm glad I didn't get rid of it because it smells amazing. Amouage Interlude smells like a complex, smoky, spicy, and resinous oriental, often called the "Blue Beast," featuring a dominant smoky incense (frankincense, myrrh) mixed with sweet, honeyed amber, opoponax, and spicy notes like oregano and pimento, drying down to rich leather, oud, and woods, creating a deep, resinous, almost caramelized, and powerful scent for cold weather.
