SOTD - Jean Lowe Noir by Maison Alhambra
Took me a while to track this dupe of LV’s Ombré Nomade. Now that I have, today is my first wear, and I went in blind. It’s a brilliant fragrance. I’m a big fan of the Ombré Nomade dna. If I ever do pull the trigger and pick up an LV, it’s likely to be this. But for now, at a full 6.5% of the cost off the original, JL Noir scratches the itch very vigorously. The opening spicy Oud is very pleasant, and while the raspberry isn’t quite as forward as Nomade it is certainly present. It’s a powerful, projecting fragrance, lasting a good 6 hours as a workhorse and a further 6 as a skin scent. Whatever you think of dupes, you can’t deny this value for money. Recommended if the cost of Louis Vuitton is a step too far. EDIT: Aaaand it seems like I’m posting about a dupe in the centre of Dupe War III. Great timing there, Craig. I shall declare myself Switzerland and go about my day. 🤙
