Yesterday I went to smell some frags, not expecting to spend money, but ready to spend some big ones if the occasion allowed it. So me and the missus went to the fragrance store, and what we saw was amazing. The whole Gritti collection was discounted HEAVY. A scent which was normally 185+ was now <100. Insane to say the least. So from the 15+- fragrances, I loved one, which is Chantilly. It's a women's fragrance, but I can't help but love it on myself. It smells like a light powdery vanilla ice cream that's beautifully supported by a bed of white flowers and some faint strawberries/watermelon. The Mrs smells a faint coconut oil as well, but it isn't present for me to be honest. This is a wonderful fragrance which will be a statement scent during the summertime for sure. I'd give it a 8.3/10. Not the most unique & pretty feminine, but such a wonderful smelling fragrance.

Good morning, fragrance family ☀️❄️ Getting myself together to head out into the elements today subzero Chicago again and looks like it’s here to stay for a while. Work is calling and I’ve got a doctor’s appointment on the schedule, so there’s no hiding from the cold. But if I’ve got to brave it, I’m doing it properly. Today I decided to make a statement, courtesy of my brother @Paul Bartnicki . I went with a bold layering combo: Xerjoff Alexandria II Anniversary paired with Pink Papua Pure Oud by Ensar Oud. And listen… this is absolutely NUCLEAR in the best way possible. Woody, floral, animalic, sweet and that unapologetic moderate feral oud that most folks would run from at full speed. I love it. Powerful, commanding, and not for the faint of heart. If I’m going to face the tundra, I’m doing it wrapped in greatness. Make it a great day, family and smell good doing it. 💪🏾🔥
