SpiceBomb Extreme vs Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla

2 sprays on each wrist - on skin

Opening - Cremo has a dominant bergamot note while the Spice Bomb Extreme has a dominant cumin and saffron, first time I have picked up that BO funk in a fragrance.

10 min - the Vanilla and wood make a showing while the bergamot steps back in the Cremo. Spice Bomb, the cumin goes away along with the BO smell. Cinnamon and Boosie notes kick in.

Dry down- they get closer in profile, however the Spice Bomb has a slightly deeper tobacco and cumin is still hanging around making a bit darker between the two. Cremo is lighter, could be the concentration since it is an edt. Cremo also has a soft wood note, giving it a faint quick cleaner scent, soapy for a quick half second, when up close to skin.

Projection is mild to moderate on both. These are both new to me and I asked my wife if she liked what i sprayed on and she said she couldn't smell anything and I was only about 3 feet away, i kept getting close and she didn't until i was about a foot away.

My verdict - I won't call Cremo a clone or inspired by. I would call them cousins, you can see where they share similarities, but there is enough difference there, they can be their own. Cremo is office friendly, everyday friendly and to me it can be pulled off year round, dressed up or dressed down, very versatile. SB Extreme can potentially be office friendly, more business casual, fun evenings out. I would use SB Extreme in weather that is 65F or lower.

Cremo is an easy grab and glad I blind bought the bottle and can see my self using this for quick office visits, errands, etc. For SB Extreme, still on the fence and will wear the decant more and decide then if I feel it is bottle worthy for me. One of the big hesitation is that cumin off the rip, it smelled like bad BO on me, which is a first, maybe with more wears I will get over it, learn to like, then love it. I do really like the full dry down on SB Extreme.

Cumin got stronger on the SB Extreme and the Cremo comes off like a household cleaner. This is why it so important to try on skin and clothes. My wife reacted, posted in comments below..lol

Projection is much stronger.

As it dries down on clothes, SB Extreme is getting better, I am getting John Varvatos - John Varvatos vibes. Cremo still like a household cleaner.

After about 2 hours, they both became very enjoyable on the sleeves, probably prefer the smell off of the clothes when it dries down. To me, SB Extreme became a light version of John Varvatos - John Varvatos and added Vanilla, i could be wrong, wont know until I put them side by side, but that is what my brain instantly jumped too when i smelled it on my sleeve and in the air.
