This opens with a bright spark of pink pepper, orange blossom and creamy coconut, creating a fresh gourmand moment that catches the nose. As it develops, the heart unfolds into a soft, warm blend of cappuccino, caramel, and lush white florals like jasmine sambac and tuberose, giving it a rich and cozy feel. The base then settles into bourbon vanilla absolute, tonka bean absolute, sandalwood and musk, which lend a smooth, mellow woody-sweet trail that lingers delicately.
In terms of performance, the longevity I get is around 7-9 hours even longer on skin and clothing. Projection is good: it’s noticeable early but becomes more intimate as it dries down, making it ideal for cosy occasions rather than aggressive sillage. It’s an extrait too so not many sprays is needed.
Although the brand markets this as a women’s fragrance, this is described by many as unisex thanks to its balanced woody base and moderate sweetness - making it wearable by men who enjoy vanilla and gourmand-woody scents. Admittedly to me it leans more feminine at the moment due to the tuberose, which is quite prominent but I did read after maturation it’s supposed to soften a lot bringing the other notes into it more making it more unisex.
Overall I’d currently rate it 7.7/10, after maturation it will probably change. I wore it to work recently and received two compliments within 30 seconds. I actually asked them if it smelled feminine in anyway but they said not in slightest and I smelled amazing - so must just be my nose then as to me it does lean quite floral but hopefully in time it’ll change.
