SOTD- Versace Eros Energy

Today I grabbed a freshie that I really enjoy and dashed out the door. This is a great dumb reach fragrance for me and one that I don't understand quite why it's so polarizing. I would highly suggest not reading what people are saying on fragrantica about it, because I wonder if they've bought legitimate bottles or if maybe they've purchased fakes from eBay or something.

Anyways, this is beautiful citrusy, lemony blast with the opening that lives up to its name. It's a fresh and energetic smell that just screams happiness, bliss and wait for it.........energy!

The drydown smooths the scent profile down a bit and introduces the musks and ambers and patchouli.

This is a fragrance that isn't ground breaking in it's scent profile and has a familiar quality to it and I don't feel that's a bad thing in this case. It's familiar and enjoyable and personally I feel it's well worth the cost.

The performance is about average for a fresh and citrusy fragrance. It's one I wouldn't say is poor nor outstanding in it's performance, but average. I get about 5-6 hours with it, with the first 1-2 where it projects nicely and then turns into a within arm reach scent. I'm very happy with this fragrance and for the money it cost. To me, it's one of my favorite Versace scents and I highly recommend it to everyone to give it a shot to see what you think about it.
