SOTD: Gelsomino A Freddo by Acqua di Parma

I was able to get a sample of the new Acqua di Parma fragrance due to be released in September so I wanted to share my first full wear. The opening is a sweet citus with some spiciness as an undertone. The spiciness of the opening dissipates about 15 min in and some of the Iris and Black Tea notes starting to present themselves. The heart of the fragrance presents the white florals which become prominent and turns the fragrance quite sweet. At this point I still I get a powdery scent from the Iris. At full dry-down, the fragrance remains quite sweet which is more than likely coming from the Guiaic wood. The scent has a vanilla sweetness with an earthy undertone.

Notes: Top notes are Pink Pepper, Lemon and Artemisia; Heart notes are Iris, Jasmine and Black Tea; and Base notes are Patchouli, Guaiac Wood and Nagarmotha.

Performance on this fragrance is good as it projects quite well at the opening and is providing a good 5 to 6 hours of longevity.
