SOTD: French Avenue Azzure Aoud
This one is a bit tricky for me. It opens up very nice with some passion fruit and other fruit notes. However this doesn’t last very long as it’s overpowered by saffron and is slightly harsh to my nose. Not bad but not the best.
The mid is decent with oud and benzoin. Nothing spectacular to report lol.
The dry down is probably the best part about the frag with sandalwood leather and vanilla which is nicely blended.
It performs well and lasts a good amount of time. I know this is a dupe of Oud Maracuja but have never smelled the OG.
I’ll give this one some time on the shelf to see if it grows on me.
