SOTD: Aromatix Royal Taboo

I’ve read this is an inspiration of Creed Centaurus which I have not smelled before. Let me know if that’s incorrect.

It was a chilly 50 degrees this morning and the accords on this one looked like they would work.

It starts off with a sweet spicy aspect from cinnamon and cardamom. It’s well blended and not overly sweet.

The open lasted about 15 minutes before I started to pick up on some tobacco while the cinnamon still lingered. I don’t pick up much else in the mid as the tobacco and cinnamon run the show.

About 2.5 hours in the vanilla and tonka showed up along with some woods. The cinnamon was still hanging around though giving it a vanilla cookie vibe.

Projection for the first 3ish hours was excellent at about a 2-3 foot bubble. After that it died down to within arms length and is still lingering 6 hours later.

I’ve wanted to dive into Aromatix for a while but kept putting it off. Now that they have the new releases and I have this bottle I might pick up a couple.
