Amouage Interlude Black Iris

So we just started a little cold ( and fortunately), wet snap here in Colorado. Working a high end client's event at their home and with the cooler weather, I thought I'd wear something special.

Now this is a quite powerful fragrance and even with my travel atomizer 2-3 sprays was enough. It seems I have a very sensitive nose however, and I feel like I'm overpowering regularly and when I ask my friends, they usually tell me they can only smell me when they are close enough to hug me.

Either way, that's a me thing, but I absolutely love this fragrance! It's much darker and mysterious than the OG Interlude and that creamy, buttery orris root is just fantastic to me.

I did get a few compliments too. Mostly to how unique and interesting it smelled. Interestingly enough they were all ladies!

I've personally never smelled an iris fragrance like this before.

If any of you have any suggestions, I'd love to put my nose on some similar fragrances! ( If there are any...)
