Yup, I did that....

What is the strangest thing you have gotten hyper-focused on? something completely unnecessary but you needed to get all the information before you gave up...

For me, I love to look up old out dated laws that are from the 1800 to early 1900's (that are stull current laws because no one has ever taken them out of the law books) that you wonder, WTF happened to even come up with that law....

Example:

In Arizona, it is illegal to allow your donkey to take a nap in your bathtub after 7pm... I will give you a min to reread that..... ........ yes, you read that right.... So let me explain, In 1924 a man was letting his donkey sleep in his bathtub. A dam broke and carried the bathtub with the donkey in it, down into the valley where 100's of people were involved in saving this sleeping donkey... So this law was created... So to all my fellow Arizonians, please wake your donkey's up, no later then 6:59pm...

In Georgia, it is illegal to consume fried chicken by any other means than with your hands. I read that this law started just to get publicity stunt designed to establish Georgia as the "poultry capital of the world" but it is an actual law. Now, they make it into a joke and have fun with it. The last women they "messed with" / for fun was 91 years old and it was in 2009. They told her that her citation was that she had to finish every single bite with her hand and was not allowed to leave until she did... and now her picture sits in KFC in Georgia...

I could keep going but I think you get my point...
