Hi, my name is Allyson, I’m from Baltimore, Maryland, and I work as a high school English teacher and track coach. I have experience with teaching diverse learners, supporting students with IEPs and 504s, lesson planning, classroom management, and coaching student-athletes.
As someone with ADHD, I see it as a strength that’s helped me be successful—I’ve built a lot of strategies that I now use to support my students as well. But as life changes, those strategies don’t always keep up, which is why I’m here looking for some support and guidance.
You can ask me questions about:
- High school ELA & lesson planning
- Supporting different learners
- Classroom management
- Track coaching
- Staying organized as a teacher
I want to get these things from ADHD Harmony:
- Better systems for staying organized and consistent
- Strategies to manage overwhelm and burnout
- Help with time management and prioritizing
- Ways to stay focused when I have a lot going on
- Routines that actually stick
- Tools to reduce mental clutter and feel more in control
For fun, I like to:
- Read
- Diamond painting
- Organizing
- Pet sitting
- Social media
- Solving mysteries
