The mask I've been wearing most: total confidence without doubt
How exhausting it's been: well, it can be stressful, draining, and anxiety ridden to feel insecure about yourself. It is a tough feeling to get over and when I am feeling confident it takes just a small mess up to lose it all. It is even more stressful when the ego does not allow me to vulnerable and just fess up when not feeling secure, instead I go with the “fake it till you make it” or “put on a show they will never know mentality” – when you fake confidence, people will expect you to act with confidence which cannot always be as easily faked. It just adds another unnatural state to be in to make thigs feel awkward.
What I loved as a kid (before the masks):all things kids do: reading, dancing, playing house, barbies, nature, out doors, rollar skates and bmx bikes, playing with my sisters outside all day (mainly because we were locked out of the house while the oldest sister cleaned but none the less we played all day together), any kind of arts and crafts .... other than rollar skating and barbies, I still do all the other fun actiivites I loved so much as a kid. :)
